Arena Farms – Melons

ARENA FARMS - This week will have a large area of sweet corn ready for harvest. It may be the right time to start freezing for winter.  Arena Farms also have some specials on tomatoes for canning along with a lot of melons ready to eat!  You will also find newly dug red and Yukon gold potatoes along with the rest of their freshly picked produce.

Market customers are asked to buy a little extra each week and donate to G.I.F.T. right at the market each and every Saturday at the Foodshed Alliance table.  People who have gardens can bring their extra home-grown produce to the market for donation as well.

All the donations will go to local soup kitchens, food pantries or other charitable organizations to contribute to the health and wellness of the people in need.
